So, so much to be thankful for! Nate and I love a full house. He made the beautiful wooden centerpieces from a tree in the woods that was stuck by lighting. I foraged some bittersweet, picked up fruit at the market, and then let my girls (and their Chicago cousins!) go at the table decor. When we realized that we had used every chair/bench in the house, and still had 8 kids to seat, Nate ran out to the workshop and made a one foot tall table out of plywood , and the kids loved a Japanese-style dinner on the floor. (This is actually perfect, as you don’t have to keep telling them to sit in their chairs!) Happy day!
