What Season Should I choose?
Each season we prepare unique farm experiences for our client family! Please look through our {Seasonal Image Galleries } to see which season is right for you.
Who will I work with?
We have 4 photographers on the AKP team that specialize in different areas, and work together to share the load. You will see who is working on which date when you book. You can meet each of our photographers and see their work { here}
I'm worried it won't go well!
We completely get this fear! After years of working with 100's of families I complied the best strategies I've observed to guide you into a low stress session. This info will be waiting for you in your confirmation info after you book! We stand by our work. If you don't love your images, we reshoot for free.
Farm session $725
What to expect: 60 minute session, offered most weekends. Use of the Barn Studio and 2-3 outdoor seasonal locations. Clothing change is fine, pets or grandparents are welcome at no charge. Online viewing gallery from which you will choose 20 high-res, edited images to download. Print permission included.
Premium session $1025
What to expect: 120 minute session, offered most weekends - we encourage you to book sunset times for golden hour light with this session! Use of the Barn Studio and 4-5 outdoor seasonal locations. Clothing change is fine, pets or grandparents are welcome at no charge. Online viewing gallery from which you will choose 30 high-res, edited images to download. Print permission included.
Mini Session $425
What to expect: 20 minutes of photography, offered most months. Online viewing gallery from which you will choose 10 high-res, edited images to download. Print permission included.
What about the weather?
If it seems like it may be too hot, cold, windy or rainy for your session we will get in touch with you! You will be contacted the day before your session regarding weather. If we need to reschedule, we leave time blocks open for just that purpose.
what happens after our session?
10-14 days following your session, you will receive an online viewing gallery and will be able to select your favorite images for download.
Files will be high res, edited, and come with print permission. If you find you need more images then come with your session, you will have the option to purchase additional files.
Do you stand by your work?
Your investment is safe! Know that we stand by our work and promise you will love your images or we will reshoot for free.
What if we get sick?
Please let us know as soon as possible if you have illness or injury. If anyone has a large visible cut, bruise, or rash, please reschedule. Any issue that is small (such as a pimple) we can remove in post processing. If you are unsure, please text us a photo! There is no charge for rescheduling!
Can we bring our pet?
We love pets! They are always welcome. Please do remember that we have free-range chickens, so if your dog is likely to chase them, please keep him on a leash.
Location & DIrections
Studio/Farm is located 15 minutes west of Ann Arbor off of Scio Church Road. Details provided in client portal after booking.
Can we add a family?
Have extended family in town? You can add a family to your session for $150. Each additional family requires a fee. There is no fee for grandparents. Not available for mini sessions.
What should we wear?
After you book, your client portal will have helpful info about clothing and other details that will help your session to feel relaxed & and look your best.
