Your Senior Portrait Session Deserves More Than a Backdrop — It Deserves a Place
When I started photographing seniors at my Ann Arbor farm studio, I was excited to offer something different. Not a white wall. Not a cookie-cutter pose in front of a seamless paper roll. I wanted a real place – somewhere with texture, light, and room to breathe – because you are more than a backdrop.
That’s exactly what I’ve built here, and honestly? We’ve created some breathtaking senior photos through the years!
Welcome to the Farm
From the moment you pull up, you’ll feel the difference. The property has a little bit of everything, and over the years I’ve learned every corner of it: where the light falls in the golden hour, where the colors pop hardest in October, where you can kick off your shoes in the grass and just be yourself.
Here’s what we’ll get to work with together:
The Studio My climate-controlled studio has a changing area and plenty of room so you can arrive, get settled, and do outfit changes in total comfort – no awkward car swaps in a parking lot. When the Michigan weather has other plans, the studio is our home base! (Or if you’re dying for outdoors – we are always happy to reschedule if it’s too hot, cold, rainy, or windy!)
The Pond There’s something magical about water in portraits. The reflection, the soft light, the way it makes everything feel a little dreamy. The pond on the property is one of my absolute favorite spots, and these often end up being family favorites.
The Evergreens Looking for something timeless and lush? The evergreen grove gives us incredible texture and depth. The rich greens work beautifully against just about any outfit, and the filtered light in there is chef’s kiss.
Wildflowers (Summer Sessions) Book a summer session and you might walk into a field that looks like a painting. The wildflowers that bloom on the property each summer are unreal – bright, abundant, and totally unique. These images have a romantic, editorial feel that I absolutely love creating.
Fall Colors (Fall Sessions) Michigan falls – you already know. But photographing a senior surrounded by that warm amber and crimson on this property? It never gets old. Every year I’m amazed all over again. Fall sessions book fast for a reason.

We have several packages that ALL include some full-sized, edited digital images for download and a formatted yearbook – we have something for every budget, and we’d be happy to walk you through the entire process! I know it can be overwhelming to plan a senior year. 🙂
