If anyone wants a free million dollar idea, I think there should be a children’s book series, beautifully illustrated (cough, cough  Josh Brunet!…), based on this set of twins.  I have had the privilege of photographing Oscar and Stella since they were newborns, their personalities are PERFECT for fabulous children’s lit.

Stella is bubbly and quick to smile and try anything new.  High up on daddy’s shoulders to pick the farthest apples?  Stella’s on it.  Searching for flowers down the lane far from the family?  Stella.  Climb a tree?  Heft a huge bag of apples?  Stella, and Stella.

So where is Oscar?  Sweet Oscar, is serious and watching;  always watching over Stella.  Chasing her down the lane to be sure she doesn’t get too far.  Being the muscles behind Stella’s big idea.  Stocking up on doughnuts for the energy to keep up.  And always willing to break out of his serious side to get her (and the whole family!) to laugh.
