Meet the Team: Introducing Aubreii & Meghan!
Last fall, two of our very treasured photographers, Candice and Francesca, both moved on to their next life adventures. Francesca moved out of state to accept a dream job, and Candice is now managing an art gallery! While rejoicing with each of them for their good news, we feel their loss and miss them so much. But I’m excited to introduce you to our new photographers!
If you’ve reached out to schedule a session in the last 15 years, chances are you’ve already met Aubreii—she just wasn’t behind the camera yet. 😊
Aubreii has been the heart of AKP’s operations since practically the beginning, managing all the behind-the-scenes magic that keeps things running smoothly. (She has also saved me from more technological disasters than I care to admit.) As her kids got older, she felt ready for a new challenge—so she went back to school for photography, and last fall she and I began actively training together. I could not be more proud of her. Aubreii brings a graphic design background, an incredible artistic instinct, and that same warm, energetic presence you may already know and love. She is unflappable, endlessly kind, and I just know you are going to adore working with her.
And then there’s Meghan.
Meghan is based in Ypsilanti and has been training with me for the past six months. She has a natural eye and heart for capturing beauty—the kind you can’t really teach. She came to me with a foundation in graphic design and a lifelong habit of recording everyday life through her lens, and she has grown so much in such a short time. Meghan is vivacious, fun, and deeply caring, and she brings all of that into every session. She is also a new mama to the most darling little girl named Rosemary, so she gets it—the fleeting nature of these seasons, and why it matters so much to get them right.
I am genuinely thrilled to welcome them both as photographers you can now book with here at Amy Kimball Photography. These are not just talented photographers—they are wonderful humans, and I trust them completely with your families and your memories.
