Slow living

Remember what it felt like to have nothing to do for an entire day except make a dandelion chain?   One of the best things about the farm is slow living. Kids are experts at it, and I’m trying to learn it.  They teach me to eat lunch in a dandelion field, to spend a long Sunday afternoon in the hammock, to walk in the flowering woods at dusk, or to swim with the ducklings in the pond.  My kids are growing up so fast.   My baby is 7, and not even for that much longer.  I am determined to slow down and not miss real life.
