The littlest guy of this sibling trio started the shoot shy, as many little people do. Who could blame him?! Away from home, with a stranger hovering around him with a big camera? But the farm is perfect for shy kids. We tried the swing and hammock out, and then wandered over to the coop, where we fed the chickens and collected eggs. Then it was down the lane to the lake where we climbed the big rocks and looked for fish. We ran a few races and then headed over to the cabin for a snack of cider and doughnuts…and before we knew it, the hour was over.
And somewhere in that hour, even the shyest of kids forget that it’s a photo shoot. They start to laugh, and play, and relax. They grin their real grin, and not only does everyone have a good time, but Mom and Dad get the photos they were hoping for. This is my dream for the farm studio – a place where your kids can be kids, your family can relax, and you take home beautiful heirloom images to remember this stage of your family life.
