This summer Nate’s brother rented a ranch house so his family could get out of the city for the summer.   So there we were the Chicago and Detroit Kimballs ranching it!   The little shed the cousins are pictured in front was near the horse pen, and far enough from the house that it felt like it’s own world.  The kids quickly made it over as the “Kimball’s in Wyoming Clubhouse”.  All the photos in this batch were taken on the property – which had a view of the mountains, rock formations in the yard, cacti, and giant dandelions.  The girls would run down the road every day to the horse farm across the street where they fell in love with a horse they named “Spot-a-licious.”  And I love the photos of L. on the praire  – that girl is bottled sunshine.
